This is a trio in the classic organ trio format, guitar-Hammond-drums. I have wanted to play in this setting for a long time, but in my neighbourhood it´s hard to find organ players who also play left hand or pedal bass. Now I´m lucky to have found one in Copenhagen, Denmark- Kjeld Lauritsen. In this trio we play mostly compositions of my own, but also some by Kjeld. We also play standards from time to time. Our music can be described as contemporary/modern straight ahead jazz.
This trio is featured on my debut recording- Gentle Thoughts. On this CD the trio is extended with two horns, to form a quintet, on some of the tunes. Mårten Lundgren plays the trumpet and Magnus Lindgren plays the tenor saxophone.

This group was formed in 1997 aiming to play hard swingin´ blues and soul jazz. Over the years, the band has performed successfully on a wide range of gigs- jazz festivals, jazz clubs, restaurants and private parties. The band´s repertoire goes from hard bop and finger-snapping swing to rump-rolling funky beats. It´s great fun to play with these guys!

This band plays music exclusively by Thelonius Monk (without a piano????????).

Also check out La Couronne, the French Bistro in the heart of Malmö. I play there on Saturdays between 15.00 to 18.00 every now and then, in small settings with friends (often as a duo with a bass player).
